Two accident car offers may look different because the buyers received different information. One may have seen current photographs, while another heard only that the car has bumper damage. A fair comparison starts with the same vehicle description and sale package.
Create a common enquiry sheet
Record make, model, year, known mileage and current location. Add the visible damage, assessor findings and recorded status where known. Label unverified details explicitly rather than fill gaps with guesses.
Use current photographs and explain whether components have been removed since the images were taken. Give each buyer the same inventory of fitted, loose and missing parts.
Match the collection assumptions
Tell every buyer about wheels, keys and known rolling or steering restrictions. Describe the actual entrance and access limits. A quote assuming an accessible complete car is a different proposition from one based on a damaged vehicle in a restricted yard.
Clarify whether collection is included and whether release arrangements are complete. Storage charges from another business should be considered separately rather than assumed to be part of a buyer’s offer.
Ask about remaining conditions
Is the amount based on photographs, a description or an inspection? What checks remain before it is final? Ask which differences between the enquiry and the actual vehicle could require a revised assessment.
Record payment arrangements and collection availability as well as the amount. A larger initial figure with unclear conditions is not directly comparable to an inspected offer with confirmed terms.
Keep updates consistent
If the status, location or included parts change, update all active enquiries. Retain the description and confirmations so you know which version each offer uses.
Do not assume a maximum advertised payout describes your accident car. Compare offers made for the particular vehicle and conditions you disclosed.
Request an assessment through SA Wrecker’s cash for accident cars service. Include pickup details when discussing accident car removal. For related enquiries, our salvage car removal and wrecked car removal pages help you identify a relevant collection route, subject to the vehicle assessment.

Before you arrange collection
What details help you assess my vehicle?
Describe the damage, insurance status, missing wheels or panels, and collection access. Clear photos help the assessment.
How is the vehicle offer calculated?
The offer depends on the make, model, age, condition and recoverable components. An initial quote uses your description; the final amount is confirmed after assessment.
Is vehicle collection free?
Free collection is offered as part of an agreed vehicle purchase. Confirm the pickup location, access requirements and collection terms before accepting.
Can collection be arranged today?
Same-day collection may be available, depending on the vehicle, suburb, access and schedule. Confirm a booking directly with SA Wrecker.
When do I receive payment?
Agree the final amount and payment method before collection. Payment arrangements are completed after the assessment and sale agreement, before removal.
